There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping deserving people in a one-on-one way. Refugee Support Services of the Carolinas (www.refugeesupportservices.org) is a lifeline for many newcomers to America and Charlotte in particular. The United Nations allows a certain number of severely persecuted people from around the globe to resettle in America, escaping their inhumane conditions. We in Charlotte should give these people a hand-up so that they can quickly become self-sufficient and contributing members of our community. Help us do that!
